As many of you have requested, I will start posting dishes that can be made in 30 minutes or less, the express section.
Today’s post took less than 10 minutes from start to end: Rice noodles with vegetables.
So let me tell you how this dish came about…
I was watching Glee (I declare this show as my favorite!) and in between episodes, I took a break to see what’s in the fridge. There was some vegetable salad from lunch the day before and I knew I still had rice noodles and voila! All I needed was to heat a pan and get my seasonings out.
The ingredients: vegetable salad, red pepper for color and crunch and 1 portion of rice noodles
The seasoning: soy sauce, sesame oil, black pepper and sea salt
Cook noodles according to package instructions and then put aside.
Heat a wide pan with a little oil.
Add the vegetables to the pan and the chopped red pepper.
Alternatively, you can just add whatever chopped vegetables available in the fridge. Fry for a few minutes, then add a splash of soy sauce.
Add the noodles and mix with vegetables. Add a splash or two of sesame oil. Salt and pepper to taste.
And that’s it.
Enjoy!
wow such a simple recipe and looks amazing…thanks budour, will try it tomorrow
Yay! Let me know how it goes
I don’t like recipes that claim to take or 30 minutes.. They always turn into 30-40 (if not 50) minute recipes with me =/
Haha but trust me this one will!
