I want…
A Princess Cake
According to The Moment Blog by the New York Times, it’s a Swedish specialty cake with “sponge cake topped with a layer of raspberries, the raspberries topped with vanilla cream, the pastry cream topped with whipped cream and the whole shebang royally enrobed in a thick cloak of green marzipan.” Umm Yum?
I was in Sweden this summer and I didn’t see this cake anywhere! So how come my Swedish friend?
ohmygod.. cake.
Isn’t it fabulous! Too bad my birthday just passed.
This might sound lame. But Ikea was selling frozen Princess Cakes last year here in Kuwait. I think their food section didn’t do too well, so they closed it. But then again, I don’t think you would have been interested in a frozen one, would you?
Not at all! My friend Sara sent me a link of her Princess cake. The blog is in Swedish but you can take a look at the picture of the cake.
